Its almost Christmas and that means lots of fun, beer, crazy last minute shopping, and rushing around to see family. If you fancy a bit of a break and some time away from the Christmas craziness, come along to our Mannington Playday and enjoy a few hours of off road fun!

We will be having a club stand at October’s Newbury 4×4 and Vintage Spares Day.
Newbury is the Largest Land Rover Autojumble in Europe plus large Vintage Spares Section alongside, over 800 plus traders usually attend!
There are days to go but it’s not too late to join us for our second Seven Sisters event.
“Seven Sisters, a weekend of action packed off roading and green laning at one of the biggest sites in the UK. Seven Sisters is a family friendly site suitable for all ages, all trucks and all drivers regardless of experience.”
Best of all It’s only £99 for the weekend!!
As a major highlight for the September event we are once again running a night driving event on the Saturday night! We close the site a bit early on Saturday afternoon to allow everyone time to return to the base for a while, then head back to the site once the sun has set to give everyone the unique experience of off-roading in the dark!
This year we are holding a BBQ Banquet, which will be a wonderful way for members to come together to discuss the day so far, and get to know one another. If this is something you would be interested in tickets can be purchased alongside your event booking. Check out our website for full details.
Camping is also available at nearby Dan yr Ogof showcaves which can be booked alongside your ticket.
For 2016 we are allowing non-road-legal vehicles to attend our Seven Sisters events, subject to the Shire Land Rover Club rules. If you have any doubts or questions about bringing your vehicle please contact us well in advance and we will be able to advise.

Well! I think we can safely say that Brick Kiln was a roaring success! We really hope we can secure further dates at the site – keep your eyes on the club calendar! In the meantime, if you have any photos, why not share them on our Facebook and Flickr groups?
As it’s now December, apparently it’s the “done thing” to start talking about Christmas and what is going on this month. First up is our Club Social on 3rd December at the Empress of Blandings. Secondly, it’s our get-away-from-the-turkey Play Day at Mannington on 27th December where you’ll make our Newsletter Editor very happy if you decorate your Landy with something Chrismassy!
