Club Committee

The club can’t run without committee, marshals, and other helpers – all of who give up their time voluntarily to keep the club running.

We are always looking for volunteers, it makes a huge difference to the running of the club and can be as little as a few evenings per month – if you are interested in getting involved at all, please do contact us.

Chair

Overall responsibility for the club and running it through the Committee

Vice-chair

Assists the Chairman and other Committee members as necessary

Treasurer

Responsible for the Club’s financial affairs

Secretary

Responsible for the club’s proper administration, committee meetings and records.

Events Officer

Booking and arranging club play days, entries to shows and similar events.

Membership Secretary

Maintaining an accurate list of club members, processing membership applications and renewals.

Chief Marshal

Arranging safe marshalling of events run by the club, maintaining a group of competent marshals, coaching and supporting new marshals, arranging appropriate training.

Safety Officer

Responsible for ensuring the Club operates in a safe manner, has appropriate equipment and training.

Green Lanes Officer

Organising green lane events, identifying and assessing suitable routes.

Social Events Officer

Organising social and non-driving events for members and their families.

Webmaster

Administering and supporting the Club’s online accounts and tools.

Social Media Officer

Coordinating and curating the Club’s online presence and social media content.

Merchandising Officer

Ensuring the Club has a suitable selection of merchandise, managing stock levels and coordinating sales.

Marshals & Working Party

And all the other lovely folks who get stuck in and help out – marshals, green lane leaders, trailer towers and everyone else who lends a hand and helps keep events running smoothly – sometimes just an hour or two a month could make a big difference to the club so please do stick your hand up if you’d like to get more involved, you don’t need special knowledge or a tricked up vehicle.
