DESCRIPTION:Mannington is a site of two halves\, one half has tight technical forest tracks with some deep swampy sections\, mud runs\, dug out climbs and gulleys\, and the other half is a large open arena which is great for all vehicles and abilities\, with water of varying depth so you can dip a toe or plough in bonnet-deep\, plus lots of wide open climbs and tracks and some twisty technical bits in between the trees. \nA great site for all vehicles from shiny to hardcore – our rules on which vehicles can come are here. \nYou can save time and book a ticket in advance via Eventbrite here\, or you can pay on the day as usual. \nMANNINGTON SITE LOCATION\nFor anyone who hasn’t been to Mannington before the nearest postcode is BH21 6SB \nThe site entrance is located on the main road at the crossroads with Horton Road and Burt’s Lane. Shire LRC signs will be located at this point and to guide you along the farm track – please close the gate after you\, and PLEASE drive carefully and considerately as there are pedestrians and horses using this track. \nThe Google Maps waypoint is 50.868091\, -1.912104\nYou can type the above co-ordinates into Google maps and it will take you directly to the site.

DESCRIPTION:Show off your Land Rover at Silverstone!\nWe’re really rather excited about this – the Shire Land Rover Club have got a stand at Silverstone Classic 2024 – three days of classic cars from every era\, racing on-track and on show\, full pit lane access all round\, plus live music in the evenings\, a FREE fun-fair for the kids\, air displays\, and loads of other stuff. \nAs an invited car club we get a much reduced rate AND you get to park your Land Rover on the club stand in amongst the Ferraris and Porsches and whatnot. \n \nThe package price is for TWO PEOPLE in ONE VEHICLE and is a big discount off the regular ticket price. SUMMARY:Basingstoke Festival of Transport
DESCRIPTION:A great day out for all the family\, whether you’re a keen motor buff or you just want an interesting and enjoyable Sunday. \nOnce again\, we expect that the War Memorial Park will be filled with nearly 750 vehicles. We look forward to seeing both exhibitors and visitors come and enjoy themselves. It is a wonderful family day out. This event is free of charge both for exhibitors and visitors! \nParking is available at the Old Common\, London Road (use RG21 4BY and follow the parking signs) for £3. \nAs in previous years\, there will be a huge range of vehicles on static display\, including classic\, vintage\, commercial\, fire engines and military trucks. There will also be a variety of specialist car clubs\, trade stalls and catering outlets. \nShire LRC are attending so come along and say hello! DESCRIPTION:Pop on down and say hello! \nWe get together from around 7:30pm for an evening of general chat\, who’s broken what\, upcoming events and adventures etc. \nThe May social is also the club AGM\, so get your best heckles ready and head on over to vote (or to volunteer) on the running of the club for the year ahead. Every member who turns up to join in will get a token for a free drink at the bar as our way of saying thank you.\n \nWe will also be proposing some updates to the club constitution to modernise it a bit – you can read about that here and let us know any feedback.. \nClub socials are free and open to everyone\, whether you’re already a member or just want to find out a bit more about the club. However\, only club members can vote or stand for a committee position at the AGM. If you’re interested in getting involved in any way please do contact us. \n
