If it's on the 28th as it says in the calander, I'lll be up for a bit of green laning, maybe depending on where it is though!

If it stays the 28th, I'll come. Providing everything still works/hasn't been sold/isn't a smouldering pile of melted aluminium...

The idea is the greenlane is the back up for the play day on the 28th Feb if the greenlane goes ahead it will be on the plain and Colin will be leading the day.

I will let everyone know what maps they need closer to the time

Well it sounds as though you are more than well equiped. As far as green laning goes just a fair set of tyres and good recovery points. CB always handy 8)

If it is 28th I am well up for it :D as long as you don't require a working odometer (mileometer) as since the last Salisbury Plain event I still haven't fixed it on the series III.

Having been out on the plains this month, good mud tyres are a very good idea.

Will you be able to provide a GPX file for those of us that have nav systems based on the OS maps with GPS built in?

Hello all,

I am wanting to get into off roading over
the next few months and to find a suitable 4x4. I was wondering if any of
the more experienced guys going to this event would be willing to take
a passenger? I'd be happy to pay the event fees. I'm just after an
insight and hopefully learn something. What would you recomend as a good
starter 4x4 with a budget around £800-1000

Thanks
Lee
